D60-1144, 1862 German Traveling Dress

16-piece pattern in size 18 (36" to 30" bust, 39" hip).

This one-piece dress is based on a 1862 German design. The dress is trimmed with sets of covered buttons flanked by triangular appliqués of contrasting fabric. The front closes with hooks and eyes concealed under front facings.
Patterns for the cotton undersleeves and collar are included.
The width around the skirt hem measures 180".

Fabric recommendations are: Silk taffeta, wool flannel, tweed or crepe and plain or printed cotton or linen.
