1937 Blouses
B30-1806 Ladies' Blouses, circa 1937

This is an unusual sewing pattern of the late 30's for short-sleeve blouses in various styles.  Blouse style 1 is close-fitting by means of elastic shirred fabric.  Three rectangular guide pieces are furnished in this pattern for one to actually shir the fabric and then cut the pattern pieces for the style 1 blouse.

Recommended fabrics are: printed silks, silk crepe or faille, taffeta, cotton, linen, gingham, pique, seersucker or rayons.

The size 16 shirred blouse requires 3-1/2 yards of 45" fabric without nap.
The size 16 fitted blouses require 1 yard of 45" fabric without nap.

Two pieces are missing from this pattern to make 11-pieces.  The back blouse facing for styles 2 & 3 is missing and the sleeve facing for styles 2 & 3 is missing.  Both pieces are easliy re-created using the blouse back and sleeve pieces.  Size 16 (34" bust, 28" waist, 37" hip)with instructions and cutting layouts.
