I cut the seam allowance away to get the outline of the piece first, to keep any movement from occurring when cutting the darts out  of the inside of the piece.  Cut the small darts first, using a VERY sharp blade and cutting only through the skin, not the pile itself.  I change blades after 4 to 5 cuts.  Don't cheat yourself a good clean cut to save blades!  Below, I have started cutting on the lines of the large darts, in the same manner as the outline and small darts-through the skin only!
