B40-5279 Ladies' Halter Tops, circa 1940's

A versatile set of halter top patterns originally manufactured by Vogue.
Being that the fronts of Styles A, A-1 and B are cut bias, they lend themselves particularly well for evening wear when cut from silk satin or heavy crepe.  May be cut from: Doupioni, linen, plain or printed cottons or taffeta.

1 yard of 45" fabric with or without nap is required for View A in size 16.
1-3/8 yard of 45" fabric without nap is required for Viw B in size 16.
1-1/8 yard of 45" fabric without nap is required for View C in size 16.

This 18-piece pattern comes in vintage sizes 14 to 40
(32" to 40" bust; 26" to 34" waist and 35" to 43" hip)
