Sk40-5804 Ladies' Skirts, circa 1945 The circular inset godet at the center front of this skirt gives room for walking while maintaining that slim appearance. The sides are shaped with darts versus side seams. 3 yards of 44"/45" fabric without nap are required for the long skirt in size 16. Fabric suggestions for this design are: Velvet, Wool Flannel, Wool Crepe, Wool Gabardine, or Heavy Silk Crepe.
