This hat is accurately modeled after the styles of 1910 featuring a soft crown and very wide brim.  Recommended fabrics for the hat and bow are: velvet, velveteen, silk taffeta and silk satin.

1 yard of 20" cotton buckram and 1-1/2 yards of 45" fabric without nap are required for the hat in either size and 1 yard of contrasting 45" fabric without nap is required for the bow.

Pattern comes with illustrated instructions for head sizes 22" to 23".
