C20-E6681 Ladies' Coat with Pin Tucks and Godets, circa 1929. This pattern has three vintage standard sizes on one sheet. Bust sizes 34 to 38", waist sizes 28 to 32", hip sizes 37 to 41". This is an 8-piece pattern furnished with complete instructions and layout diagrams. Pattern price is $13.00 plus shipping.

Shape and detail are remarkably lent to this flattering coat by means of employing the1920?s Pin Tuck Plait.  The slim ¾ coat fits snugly to the body and precipitates into a flounced appearance with four Godets about the hem.  A single button closes the front of the Coat; swinging the attached fur trimmed Scarf round closes the top of the Coat.  The coat front and back may be trimmed in piping as an alternate to the pin tucks, however, pin tucks are necessary to shape the inside seam of each fur trimmed sleeve. Here, you see my cotton velvet version in progress stitched with inside pin tucks.  I will line it with a wonderful gold striped silk taffeta!
