D30-7607  Ladies' Dresses, circa 1933



This 15-piece pattern fits size 18 (36" bust, 30" waist and 39" hip).
This is one of the very first 1930's patterns with which I worked and a favorite, indeed!  I recommend cutting the front and back skirt pieces on the bias for a more flattering drape.

The original fabric suggestions cited are: Taffeta, Duvetyn, velvet, un-cut velvet, heavy sheer crepes, crepes, satin, linen, bengaline, prints and lightweight woolens.
