D40-5230; 1940's Dress
11-piece digitally-drafted pattern originally by Advance, the front of this shirtwaist dress closes at the neckline with a stepped button placket and there is a zipper opening under the left arm. Patch pockets in the skirt are detailed with pleated square openings which fasten with buttons. A design I consider very closely inspired by Claire McCardell!
