An EvaDress 'Advents-Kalendar' of RED! Day 15

In a sort of Advents-Kalendar way, I will post 'red' for each day of December through Christmas and link the image as closely as possible to EvaDress Patterns (in pattern tour form)!

Sew the look using our 1940 softly-detailed shirtwaist style dress pattern, originally by Simplicity:

For a more casual version, use a rayon print such as, that at Telalinda Fabrics:

Originally by Simplicity, the back and front shoulder yoke are cut in one. The front blouse gathers to a pointed yoke at right and left shoulders. A nine-gored skirt joins blouse at natural waistline. Three-quarter or short sleeves are finished with inside tucks at lower edge or long sleeves are also provided

3/4" seams are given at underarm (all side) seams and 1/2" seams are given on all other edges.
