This is a sewing pattern challenge to create garments from 1950’s EvaDress patterns. Accessories (hats, bags, etc.) are not counted as an individual project, but may accompany garments in a submission. Participants may each enter more than one project for this challenge.Projects may not be started earlier than 12:01 a.m. EST on September 15, 2016 although muslins for fitting may be created any time before the challenge kick-off. A year ago, I sold many patterns to Jenifer who costumed for a Colorado high school production of 'Anything Goes'. She was so kind to send me a CD brimming with images of the clothing she and her assistant created-I think they did a stellar job!  Another patterning week 'wrapped up' with this 1944 wrap skirt, now in multi-size from 26" to 42" waist. As promised last week, size set B fitting 40" to 46" bust (also with dress & jacket, or dress as a separate) in the 1950's Sarong & Bolero pattern is up and ready to go! I presented my patterning process to a small sewing group last Monday in Phoenix.  The temperature there warranted wearing the 1935 Halter Beach Dress and it was comfy and cool!
